Southern California is renown for its comfortable weather year-round and San Marcos is no exception. You can plan for sunny weather with cool highs of 71F (21C) during the day and cold evenings of 48F (9C) once the sun sets. We can expect to count on sunny/dry weather, but there is always the slight chance of rain.

San Marcos is about 45 minutes north of San Diego along the I-15 highway. From San Diego International Airport it'll take between 45mins to an hour (traffic depending) to get to the venue.

For those traveling from out of town, your own wheels may offer the best flexibility to get around. An UberX will cost at least $64 one-way from the airport to San Marcos. So, we recommend a rental car which may cost roughly $90-110 per day, or a Turo which might run about $42 per day.

We recommend planning to stay around the San Marcos area, especially if flying in from out of town. The venue is not a resort, so there aren't rooms associated with the venue itself. However, San Marcos boasts a number of affordable hotels and Airbnbs in the area. If you elect to stay closer to the coastline, all we ask is that you have a plan in place to get yourself home safely in the evening. ***The venue will permit cars to be parked there overnight for pickup the next morning before 10am.
